To ensure further peace of mind, every brand new Nissan vehicle sold at Nelson Bays Motor Group is covered by the manufacturer’s New Vehicle Warranty for a period of 3-years or 100,000 km, whichever occurs first. Please note that some already registered demonstrators or pre-registered vehicles may not qualify for the full New Vehicle Warranty. Check with our team to confirm.
Your new vehicle warranty covers all parts and components of each new Nissan vehicle, unless otherwise outlined in your Vehicle Warranty and Owner Identification Manual. Also, regardless of who services the vehicle, if a warranty problem arises, an authorised Nissan dealer must carry out the warranty work.

We are available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week and our friendly Roadside Team will have you safely back on the road in no time.
What is Nissan Roadside Assistance?
Nissan Roadside Assistance is a national programme offered to Nelson Bays Motor Group customers that can help you with a number of emergencies. Typical examples include assistance with:
- Running out of fuel
- Locking yourself out of your car
- Changing tyres
- Temporary replacement for broken glass
- Assistance with flat batteries
- … and more
How does the programme work?
Members of the programme simply call 0800 4 NISSAN (or 0800 464 7726) and quote their license plate or their vehicle’s VIN.
Technicians dispatched by Nissan are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In 92% of breakdown cases, technicians have been able to get our members back on the road again without any need for towing or time in a workshop, meaning that you can go about your day with the minimum of disruption.
If the technicians can’t get you going again, there’s no need to worry. They’ll have your vehicle transported to the nearest Nissan dealership workshop or approved service location.

The Nissan Roadside Assistance app provides you with expanded access to summon help in an emergency. If your Nissan is currently covered by the 3-year / 100,000km warranty and you are registered for the Nissan Roadside Assistance Programme with Nelson Bays Motor Group, you can now enjoy the support experience more seamlessly than ever.
When needed, our Nissan Roadside Assistance app will put you directly in touch with a roadside assistance agent who can quickly dispatch assistance to your exact location via GPS-enabled technology. There’s also a quick link to turn on the flash light and access through to our website, as well as a map showing Nissan agents throughout New Zealand.
